Our Ever Growing Story

We are a 100% plant based food truck fostering social equity through food, food security, community connection, animal compassion, food for health and environmental sustainability.
We like to think of it as “food with purpose”.

All of Grow’s flavorful food is 100% plant based

Which means it’s also dairy-free and cruelty-free. Everything is gluten, soy and peanut-free. The majority of ingredients are organic and made from scratch.

In Grow’s world, “processed” is a four letter word.

Gourmet Mac and Cheese … $13

Community Connectedness through Food

In a time where many are isolated due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, people have the opportunity to gather around a uniting factor…food..in a safe, socially distanced environment at our food truck.

Improve the Health of our Community Members

The majority of American health issues (heart disease, diabetes, stroke, hypertension, etc.) have compromised circulation. Plant based foods significantly improve circulation in the body while animal based food decreases circulation. There are some new studies linking the benefits of a plant based diet to the prevention of COVID-19.

Helping to Foster Compassion and Empathy

We believe that one of the most powerful ways to increase compassion and empathy in a community is to facilitate compassion for animals. Mahatma Gandhi said, “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated”. When people enjoy plant based food they are expressing their compassion for animals.

Social Equity through Food while Increasing Food Security

We believe everyone should have access to nutritious and flavorful plant based food. Therefore, our customers pay what they can afford for their meal. Those who have extra resources can buy a healthy meal for someone in their community who can’t afford it.

Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change Reversal

By serving plant based food we are helping the environment. Did you know that non-plant based food production contributes to a third of the greenhouse gas emissions? This is more than all automobile emissions combined. Eating more plants is one of the biggest ways a person can reverse climate change.

Offer Allergy Friendly Food that Actually Tastes Delicious

We want people with food allergies to enjoy tasty food so the Grow food truck will be gluten-free, peanut-free, soy-free and since it’s only plant based food it will be dairy-free. But rest assured it will not be flavor-free!

We support anyone who is experiencing food insecurity. COVID-19 has shined the light on many social inequities in our economic and social systems, like unequal access to nutritious food. We clearly have a lot of work to do, but as a community graced with incredible resources and compassionate individuals, we can do it together.

Grow customers can buy a meal for their food insecure neighbors when they buy their own meals, creating a real-time reciprocal cycle. In the moment giving activates instant compassion and connection to one’s community. Since financial challenges can be isolating, staying connected to the community supports mental health. Our food security program offers people who need support community inclusion and access to nutrient dense food with dignity.

Grow food truck Sold to open donkey sanctuary

Two long-time vegan couples (Anne, Cyrus, Jess, & Arturo) in Kanab, UT recently purchased the Grow Food Truck so the Grow Food Truck Co-Founders (Edj and Amber) could solely focus on opening a donkey sanctuary in Kingman, AZ. 
Edj and Amber are so delighted the food truck will continue to facilitate the mission of animal compassion because the new owners will be converting the Grow Food Truck to a vegan taco truck called Coyote Sky. The truck will be based in Kanab, UT. You can follow them on instagram @coyoteskytacos.
