Grow co-founders, Edj Fish and Amber Raleigh, discovered one of their many shared passions, loving people through food, when their career paths crossed at Whole Foods many years ago. During their tenure together at Whole Foods, Edj and Amber created a collaborative partnership with the local school district to improve the nutritional content of lunches offered to students. 

Little did they know their collaboration would be the start of their lifelong mission together.

Amber
Raleigh

Amber, former marketing executive turned mission driven entrepreneur and philanthropist, discovered through her own auto-immune health challenges and significant food allergies that food does make a difference in how you feel: physically and emotionally. Amber developed her compassion for food insecurity when she found herself food insecure during the Great Recession, living on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches since nutrient dense food was not easily available. It was at this uncomfortable point in her life where she vowed to find a way to help people have equitable access to nutrient dense food for their well-being and dignity. In addition to loving people through food, Amber loves animals which is why she is 100% plant based and on the Board of Directors for Wild Heart Sanctuary in Park City, UT. Amber also believes in empowering and connecting people which motivated her to start SupawesomeLife with Edj and is on the Board of Directors for Women’s Inspired Network (WIN) Park City.

Edj’s 30 plus years in retail operations in food and beverage are a huge asset to developing and implementing Grow’s food and beverage components. His innate ability to see and develop people’s gifts led him to running 300 team member Whole Foods Market stores and the entire coffee category for Whole Foods Market’s 32-store Rocky Mountain Region. He also honed his operational and human development experience as General Manager for Chart House Restaurants and Food & Beverage Manager at Renaissance Hotels & Resorts. His passion for functional nutrition, healthy fitness, the environment and animal compassion makes him an ideal leader of Grow.
